Allstate utilizes a third-party administrator named Safelite Solutions (SGC) to file windshield replacement or auto glass repair claims in Phoenix on their behalf. Windshields of Arizona is an “Allstate Preferred Phoenix Auto Glass Program Participant” so all work is guaranteed and backed by Allstate nationwide. In addition, Windshields of Arizona honors Allstate’s contract pricing so that there will never be any additional out-of-pocket costs to you.
Allstate now requires Phoenix policyholders to be on the line to file an auto glass or windshield replacement claim. Windshields of Arizona will conference you directly with the Allstate glass claims department and will help you file this claim. Once the claim is filed, Allstate will be able to verify coverage and give Windshields of Arizona authorization to perform the installation. Below is a list of the questions that will be asked by the Allstate Representative during the auto glass repair or windshield replacement claim process. Typically, these conference calls can be completed in less than 15 minutes.
A list of questions that will be asked by the Allstate representative to file your Phoenix auto glass or windshield replacement claim:
- Has a claim number already been provided? Is this the first time reporting this auto glass or windshield claim? (Calling your agent is not reporting the claim so the answer is typically, NO)
- Has any work been completed? (Did Windshields of Arizona start the windshield replacement or auto glass installation?) Typically the answer is no.
- Can I have the spelling of your first name? Last Name?
- What is a telephone number where you can be reached starting with the area code?
- In the event that we can’t reach you there is there another number you would like to provide?
- Other than those two numbers are there any other phone numbers you would like to add?
- What email address can we send the Allstate auto glass repair or replacement claim information?
- May I have your Allstate policy number, please? (Typically, 9-digits, starting with a 9)
- When did the damage occur to your windshield glass or you first noticed it? (You must provide a month, day, year to process claim. If you don’t know exactly, guestimate, just make sure you had coverage on that date)
- What is your zip code on your policy? (The one where you receive the bill)
- Do you know what caused the damage? (Rock, golf ball, unknown, another vehicle, unknown, etc.)
- Was the windshield the only glass damage? (Was there body damage, items stolen, etc?) If so, you may be required to pay your comprehensive deductible first.
- Can you please verify the address on your policy?
- What is the year make and model of your vehicle? (Example: 2005 Ford Mustang)
- Is the damage to your windshield smaller or larger than the size of a dollar bill? (Please note: If the windshield break is smaller them the size of a dollar bill, Allstate will set up as a chip repair and not a windshield replacement)
- Allstate confirms coverage and verifies any deductible amount. (Mrs. Jones, Allstate shows that you have full coverage with a zero deductible)
- Allstate verifies your glass shop preference (The name of the shop that you chose to do the work for you)
- Allstate informs the customer that Windshields of Arizona is a preferred shop for Allstate and that they will stand behind Windshields of Arizona’s work and that the shop will provide a written warranty.
- Allstate gives a referral number and authorization to Windshields of Arizona for billing purposes only
- Do you have any additional questions for me?
- Allstate appreciates your business and remember you are always in good hands with Allstate. The representative exits line.
- The Windshields of Arizona representative schedules your convenient in-shop or mobile appointment
Allstate Auto Insurance
For some drivers involved in accidents, their insurance company can feel like an enemy instead of an ally. If you are one of those drivers, you need to switch to Allstate where they reward good drivers with discounts and excellent customer service. With Allstate, you are truly in good hands.
Good driver discounts are one of the benefits of being insured by Allstate. The Safe Driver Bonus allows you to receive a check for up to 5% of your premium for every six months of accident-free driving. As if that bonus isn’t incentive enough, you get $100 off your collision deductible the very day you sign up and $100 more off each year you remain accident free, up to $500. Safe driving has never paid so well.
Allstate also offers Accident Forgiveness, a program that keeps your premiums from rising after an accident, even if it is your fault. They understand that collisions occur, even to the best drivers, so they don’t automatically punish you when bad things happen.
One other great benefit of Allstate Auto Insurance is the New Car Replacement option. With this program, totaling your new car doesn’t have to be a disaster. If the accident takes place within the first three model years of your vehicle, you may get a check for another brand new car and not just for its depreciated value.
An insurance company should be on your side and concentrate on helping you through the ups and downs of driving. Unlike other companies, Allstate offers many rewards to valued customers in order to make your life easier. No one needs an insurance company that tries to cost you more money. You deserve a company that works hard to save its drivers money while providing the best auto insurance protection possible. You are in good hands with Allstate.
